Capital Reserves These arise out of undistributed profits of a company, i.e. not distributed as dividend to shareholders. These reserves include profits on revaluation of capital assets and share premium (which is shown in a separate share premium account). Capital reserves are undistribuatable as dividends, but can be converted into permanent share capital by way of bonus issues.
