Joint Venture Collaboration, but not partnership, between two complementary companies, sometimes one Indian and the other foreign, to make better use of each other’s technology or services. Usually both the collaborators have equity stakes in the company – the percentage varying with the degree of collaboration of the second company. Joint ventures are usually confined to single projects.
