Locked In Shares which cannot yet be sold because the condition of offer stipulates that the share be held by the allottee for a minimum period, usually three years. Locked in shares are often devalued by market cycles, i.e., when a bear cycle sets in, the profits disappear; but so dies the feeling of helplessness of the investor.
