Money Supply The total stock of money in a country’s economy, the components of which are covered in M1 – M3 RUPEE. Too much money compared to the output of goods will push interest rates down and push prices and inflation up; too little money on the other hand will push interest rates up, lower prices and output, create idle capacity in plants and cause unemployment.
