Registered Office Official address of a company, to which all correspondence can be sent. The letterhead must contain the address, any change in which must be notified to the Registrar of Companies and Published in the official bulletin of the stock exchange. Since share transfer agents of a company may change from time to time, all shares for transfer should be sent to the registered office for the sake of safety.
