Vertical Line Charting Technical analysts’ charting of a share’s price movement by using a vertical line to represent the high and the low, with a horizontal bar across the point where the day’s trading has closed. There is a line for each day or each week or each month depending on the breadth of analysis. The chart gives an idea, not only of the trend or price movements, but also the range of fluctuation of the share’s price.
