Long Bonds or Long – Dated Bonds

Long Bonds or Long – Dated Bonds Bonds with maturity of more than ten years. These are attractive at a time when interest rates are low, and the cost of borrowing is therefore cheap. Some of these bonds are puttable (i.e., the bondholder has a right to redeem the bond before its date of maturity) after ten years.
